Benefits Specialist

Voluntary Benefits Specialist provides Aon clients and consultants with the information about voluntary benefits and providers and conducts scheme reviews.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Cracow office.

What the day will look like

The role is a mix of Scheme Reviews and a close collaboration with consultants and providers. You will have a chance to work on different Benefits’ Processes and Projects:

  • Prepare recommendation reports
  • Handle queries between consultants and providers related to recommendation reports
  • Respond to assigned consultant and provider queries
  • Ensure timeliness of providing consultants with product / SPS provider information / scheme review to help inform the client
  • Responsible for activities surround training for consultants (e.g. preparation of training documents, slide decks, scheduling of sessions, 1-2-1 show-and-tell to consultants)
  • Responsible for updating the providers information library
  • Maintain providers issues log
  • Responsible for scheduling and facilitating of QRMs with providers (includes scheduling, agenda, meeting minutes)
  • Responsible for preparation and sending of the consulting newsletter within agreed timeline
  • Propose ideas for improvement of the current workflow process
  • Responsible for completion of tasks within workflow process improvement (e.g. requirements, testing coordination)
  • Regular reviews of process documentation
  • Coordinate internal projects
  • Make sure that the level of service is continuously improving
  • Support revenue recognition process for small amounts of revenue (under £5,000) using templates, manuals and detailed instructions
Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • English level – C1
  • Ability to analyze processes and identify problems
  • High attention to details
  • Excellent communication skills with client focus
  • Ability to lead internal meetings and conference calls
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead a project with support and mentoring
  • Building strong relationship with management, stakeholders and 3rd parties
  • Supports change - showing flexibility during changes and encouraging colleagues to see the benefits of change
  • Anticipating internal clients’ needs and delivering results in a manner which meets their expectations
