Data Analyst

Responsibilities:
  • Provision of analytical support to projects across the spectrum of our transportation planning business
  • Development and use of data processing tools to provide high quality inputs to modelling and appraisal activities
  • Analysis and presentation of results
  • Analysis and processing of data
  • Preparation of study reports and presentation
  • Support to the development of forecasts, transport strategies, business cases and other forms of transport assessment
Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • Strong academic background and track record in mathematics and statistics
  • Practical experience in data analytics
  • Experience in Microsoft data analytical tools such as MS Excel, MS Access, MS Power BI, MS Power Query etc.
  • Programming skills focused around data analysis / data management / data science in some of the following languages: Python, SQL, R, Java, VBA etc.
  • Ability to interpret and present the results of the analysed data set
  • Good English skills
Desirable skills:
  • Knowledge or some experience in Transport Planning and Modelling
  • Some experience of economic appraisal activities
  • Some experience in using GIS Software such as QGIS, ArcGIS, Mapinfo
